Follow in the footsteps of Chris, our local creator who has a master degree in Arts and Letters of Scottisch history but – more importantly – has a passion for uncovering the secrets of Scottish cities. Keep your eyes peeled to solve fun location-based riddles and unlock directions for local hidden gems, impressive statues, great architecture and interesting stories from the past. Along the way, you’ll learn about the historic centre and experience the authentic vibe of Edinburgh’s Old Town.

This playful walk across Edinburgh’s historic centre sharpens your senses and encourages you to appreciate the most wonderful – and often hidden – details around you. Whether you know Edinburgh or just start exploring here, this experience gives you a perspective on discovery that will inspire your curiosity wherever you go next.

    Start at The Gatehouse, Castlehill.
    End at the Old Calton Burial Ground.
